Georgia Tech Annual Security and Fire Safety Reports

The 2025 Annual Security Report (ASR) and the Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR) are for Georgia Tech’s four campuses: Atlanta, Europe, Savannah, and Shenzhen.

These reports are valuable resources mandated by the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (part of the Higher Education Opportunity Act) and its associated regulations. They represent Georgia Tech’s ongoing commitment to informing the community and fostering a safe and secure campus environment.

The ASR serves as a comprehensive resource for safety and security data and information at Georgia Tech. It is the product of the hard work and dedication of many professionals across our campuses. The report provides a detailed overview of the Institute’s safety services and crime prevention programs, the Georgia Tech Police Department’s patrol operations and authority, emergency response and notification procedures, safety and security policies, campus disciplinary processes, missing student protocols, drug and alcohol policies, Clery crime statistics, and available resources for victims, among other important safety-related information.

The AFSR provides information on fire safety conditions, fire protection systems, fire safety policies, and fire statistics for the three most recent calendar years at Georgia Tech’s residential facilities.
